Durable and stylish terrace

THERMODECK Elegant has an elegant groove, which together with the durability of the board makes it an excellent product for building a terrace. Durability is one of the most important characteristics of the decking board, which is achieved by heat treatment. It gives the wood excellent biological resistance: its rot resistance class is I-II and its service life is many times longer than that of untreated wood. No chemicals are used in the heat treatment - only heat and steam.

The moisture content of the board is half that of normal wood. This makes THERMODECK Elegant more resistant to UV radiation and less prone to surface cracking than normal wood. THERMODECK Elegant does not have to be treated in any way. Without treatment, the surface of the wood will grey elegantly. However, if the board is to retain its warm brown colour, it should be surface treated. 

THERMODECK Elegant terrace board is available in both concealed and top-mounted versions. 

Fixing:

Concealed fixing: a stylish and perfectly intact surface is achieved using concealed clip fastening. The clip is screwed to the deck frame, and the groove on the side of the deck board is pushed into the clip to secure it in place.

Top-mounted: the board is fixed from the top using screws. Always use stainless steel screws and screw at a sufficiently close spacing to ensure the boards are securely fastened.
