Lapland Winter Park – Authentic Lapland atmosphere with modern comforts

In November 2025, Lapland Winter Park completed a total of 20 chalets measuring 29.5 square meters, which attract international tourists to enjoy authentic Lapland. The interior of the chalets exudes a traditional and natural log cabin atmosphere. The Siparila Iki panel used on the walls in the shade "Chalet gray" was developed specifically for this purpose.

The Iki panel is made of heat-treated spruce, which allows for a beautiful brushed finish. The slightly shiny gray surface treatment and brushing bring out the wood grain. This creates the impression of a natural surface that has seen time and touch.

Jani Siivola, Marketing and Sales Director at Lapland Winter Park, explains that the aim was to create an experience that combines authentic Lapland atmosphere with modern, high-quality amenities. Closeness to nature is a central theme throughout Lapland Winter Park, so incorporating wood into the interior design of the chalets was an obvious choice. The gray tone of the Iki panel creates a calm and high-quality overall look and provides versatile possibilities for the rest of the interior design.
