Tunturin Daycare Center: Siparila panels ensure quality

The construction project for the Tunturi Daycare Center took place during the cold winter season. The project used pre-painted Lucid facade panels from Siparila’s Arctic series, which proved to be an excellent choice for the challenging conditions.

Challenges in Winter Conditions

Delivering the panels to the job site at the correct moisture content reduced the risk of warping, and the presence of sound knots in the panels ensured that the product had no weaknesses. Thanks to these characteristics, the end result was high-quality and durable,” says Tanhuanpää.

During the project, there were no challenges with the façade cladding. "Our experienced installers have installed numerous cladding panels, and once the product is in place, the job goes smoothly." Tanhuanpää also stresses the importance of end-jointing "End-jointing makes installation easier, reduces material waste and ensures neat continuations."

The Tunturi daycare center has successfully reflected the planned appearance and overall outcome. Tanhuanpää mentioned that the building's architecture and appearance have garnered significant praise from passers-by. Observers have remarked that the building is exceptionally beautiful and blends well with its surroundings.
