A new home in the middle of nature
Imagine the perfect detached house—where exceptional design meets flawless execution, resulting in a home that truly exceeds your expectations. This vision became a reality through the collaboration of Siparila and Kajo Yhtiöt, transforming the residents' dream of a nature-surrounded abode into a stunning achievement. This architecturally elegant home integrates beautifully with its surroundings, offering a sanctuary where the beauty of nature is always at your doorstep.
Product samples played a crucial role in creating the perfect interior design
Constructing a dream home is fundamentally about thoughtful design; selecting suitable materials is essential. These materials should not only complement each other visually but also meet the specific needs of each space. During the design phase, the samples of interior panels played a pivotal role in guiding the material choices. "The samples allowed us to envision the overall aesthetic of our home right from the start, enabling us to finalize our selections confidently. They helped us understand how light interacts with various surfaces throughout the day. We were fortunate to have the expertise of the professionals at Kajo Yhtiöt by our side," said the residents.
Ready-painted, translucent LUCID exterior cladding sped up construction
Construction work on a detached house progressed partly in winter conditions. As a result, a fully pre-painted TOPCOAT® exterior cladding panel was chosen as the façade material. The resinous resin shade of the panel leaves the wood grain elegantly visible and the building blends in beautifully with the surrounding nature. The weather resistance of the façade is also excellent, as the panel's UTW profile, which is concealed, leaves the fixing marks hidden under the next panel and prevents water from damaging the wood. As the exterior cladding panels were fully pre-painted and the paint surface was not broken during installation, the yard work can be started immediately in the spring, eliminating the need to pile up scaffolding around the house, saving costs.
Nature-inspired shades and materials indoors
The house's interior embodies a serene and natural aesthetic, creating a welcoming environment. A 22 cm wide sand-colored AAVA interior panel was expertly chosen for the expansive roof surfaces, establishing a unified and harmonious vibe throughout the space. "We instantly fell in love with the shade of the AAVA panel—it evokes the feel of a sandy beach and infuses our home with a warm, cozy atmosphere," emphasizes the residents. A textured STRUKTUURI panel in an elegant pearl grey tone was selected to complement the AAVA panel, contrasting beautifully with the home's white and light brown hues. The abundant natural light from the large windows transforms the space, allowing light and shadow to dance across the wooden surfaces, enhancing the overall ambiance.
KASKI panel in the sauna - naturalness and harmony
We envisioned a sauna that exudes the inviting charm of an old log house, and we achieved this with the KASKI sauna panel, crafted from thermally modified wood. Its brushed surface and warm brown hue beautifully mimic the rustic appeal of traditional log cabin walls. Residents rejoice, "The KASKI panel truly enhances the wood's natural beauty in an enchanting manner. It's ideal for a sauna, and the aroma of thermally modified wood is simply captivating." With the perfect blend of rich brown wood surfaces and spacious grey tiles, this sauna creates an unparalleled sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation.
