Fire-retardant, LUCID Exterior Cladding
Fire-retardant cladding with lucid tones allow the natural surface of the wood to show through
LUCID fire-retardant, translucent exterior cladding complies with the highest fire classification, B-s1, d0. This cladding is suitable for use as a façade material on buildings classified as P1, the highest fire class. The fire-retardant finish maintains the natural wood appearance, showcasing its grain patterns and knots, while also providing effective protection against moisture and solar UV radiation.
LUCID fire-retardant cladding comes ready-painted, so there is no need for on-site painting. The concealed fixing method used for the panels hides the fixing marks, which enhances the weather resistance of the façade by preventing moisture and contaminants from damaging the wood through these marks. Translucent cladding should be installed with RST hooks or nails. To maintain their appearance and durability, fire-retardant LUCID exterior panels require re-treatment every 3 to 5 years.
Due to the properties of the wood, the tone of translucent exterior panels may vary between different batches. Therefore, special care should be taken when calculating the quantity of translucent panels.
