Fire-retardant, Pre-painted Cladding

Fire-retardant pre-painted exterior cladding

The fire-retardant, pre-painted MIDCOAT exterior cladding is suitable for applications where the final painting of the façade is to be done on-site. Thanks to its high-quality finish, MIDCOAT cladding looks stylish and effectively protects against the weather during construction.

Fire-retardant MIDCOAT exterior cladding must be painted once on-site. Painting must occur within 18 months of installation, as the nail heads will remain visible on the façade. An industrial topcoat will speed up the painting work on-site, reduce paint consumption, and protect the wood from sun and water. The finished facade has a maintenance interval of 10-20 years.

There may be differences in translucent tones between different batches. For this reason, the material calculation of translucent tones should be done carefully. Slight cladding tone differences will be smoothed out during further processing on-site. RST fasteners should be used to install translucent exterior cladding or panels made of thermally modified wood.
