PURE exterior cladding 

Untreated cladding

PURE is a wood-based exterior cladding panel that has not undergone any industrial treatment. PURE exterior cladding panels are particularly suitable for applications where material requirements are low - they can be delivered quickly and painting on site does not take an excessive amount of time. However, the untreated surface of the panel is sensitive to moisture and other contaminants, which must be taken into account on site.

Thermal wood cladding

Made of heat-treated wood, the cladding is resistant to time and weather without surface treatment. Heat treatment is a process that uses heat and steam to modify the structure of the wood without the use of chemicals. The process improves the wood's resistance to decay, weathering and thermal insulation properties. It also reduces moisture absorption in the wood. At high temperatures, the wood becomes translucent and turns a beautiful brown colour. Thermo wood turns elegantly grey when exposed to the sun's UV light. If the characteristic brown colour of the wood is to be retained, it must be surface treated. 

RST fasteners should be used for the installation of untreated cladding panels and cladding panels made of thermal wood.
