THERMODECK Elegant terrace boards have a groove that enhances the appearance of the terrace surface. These decking boards are created from thermally modified wood, which extends the lifespan of the decking. Thermally modified wood exhibits excellent resistance to moisture, and its dimensions remain stable despite fluctuations in outdoor humidity. Due to its lower moisture content compared to regular wood, thermally modified boards are also more resistant to the sun's UV rays and less prone to surface cracking. THERMODECK Elegant terrace boards are safe to use as they are produced without chemicals and are manufactured using only heat and water vapor.

The elegant THERMODECK boards are naturally beautiful and can withstand weather stress without needing surface treatment. To preserve the lovely brown color of the thermally modified wood, it's recommended to treat the decking with brown-tinted wood oil immediately after installation. Repeat this treatment regularly to maintain the color. Oiling the decking will also prolong its life span and prevent surface cracking. 

Fixing options:

CONCEALED FIXING: Choose a THERMODECK side-angled decking board for a stylish and seamless surface. With concealed fixing, the fixing clip is screwed to the terrace frame, and the groove on the side of the decking board is then pushed into the clip, resulting in a perfectly intact surface.

TRADITIONAL FASTENING: The traditional smooth THERMODECK terrace board is fastened by screwing it from the top. Always use stainless steel screws, and drill holes for the screws before fixing them. This prevents the board from cracking. Fasten the boards to the frame studs with sufficient spacing. Also, make sure that the screws are at the same level as the decking board and do not sink into the board.
