Durable and stylish terrace

THERMODECK Elegant terrace board has elegant grooving, which together with the durability of the board makes it an excellent product for building terraces. Service life and durability of a terrace board are some of the most important characteristics of terrace boards, and is achieved by heat treatment. It gives wood an exceptionally good biological resistance, with class I-II rot resistance, and a service life multiple times better than untreated wood. Thermal modification requires no chemical - only heat and steam.

The moisture content of the board is half that of normal wood. This makes THERMODECK Elegant more resistant to UV radiation than normal wood, and have less surface cracking than normal wood. THERMODECK Elegant boards can be left untreated. With no additional treatment, the board surface will turn into an elegant grey shade. To help the board retain its warm brown colour it is recommendable to treat it accordingly.  

THERMODECK Elegant terrace board is available in both concealed and top-mounted versions. 

Fixing:

Concealed fixing: A stylish and fully intact surface can be achieved using concealed clips. The hidden clips are screwed onto the terrace/deck frame, and the groove on the side of the terrace boards is pushed onto the clips to secure in place.

Top-mounted: The board is fixed from above with screws. Remember to use only stainless-steel screws and to place screws using a tight enough spacing to ensure boards will remain securely fastened.
