THERMODECK Classic
Durable and stylish terrace
THERMODECK Classic offers excellent durability and a stylish appearance. The decking boards undergo thermal modification to enhance their resistance to moisture, reduce warping, and prolong their lifespan. The lower moisture content of thermally modified boards makes them more resistant to UV rays, reducing the likelihood of surface cracking. It's worth noting that THERMODECK Classic decking boards are manufactured without the use of chemicals, relying solely on heat and water vapor, making them safe for use.
THERMODECK Classic boards are naturally stunning and can thrive in various weather conditions without surface treatment. To retain the beautiful brown color of the thermally modified wood, it's essential to treat the decking with brown-tinted wood oil immediately after installation. Continuing this treatment regularly will uphold the rich color. Additionally, oiling the decking will significantly extend its lifespan and safeguard it against surface cracking.
Fixing options:
END FASTENING: The traditional smooth, perforated THERMODECK terrace board is fastened by screwing from the top. Always use stainless steel screws and drill holes for the screws before fixing the screws. This prevents the board from cracking. Fasten the boards to the frame timbers with sufficient spacing. Also make sure that the screws are flush with the decking board and do not sink into the board.
FASTENING: For a stylish and perfectly intact decking surface, fasten THERMODECK decking boards with the CAMO screwdriver. This hides the fixing marks and results in a perfectly intact wooden surface. You can also use stainless steel screws for concealed fixing.
