Siparila's exterior cladding products have served the needs of builders for over 20 years. The new product series highlights the best features of our exterior cladding products and brings them together under two product series.
The forests of the North have enabled Finns to make a living for hundreds of years. The story of Siparila began decades ago in the small village of Siparila, where the passion for wood and its use in construction has continued.
During its more than twenty years of operation, Siparila has introduced versatile products to wood construction, which have developed over the years to better meet builders' needs. First, primed exterior cladding panels were introduced to the market, followed by industrially treated panels, which enable facade installation in all seasons.
Siparila's exterior cladding panels have served builders for decades, with concealed fixing in thermally modified and fire-protected versions. The innovative product selection has lived up to the needs of professionals and consumers but has kept its line: as a vanguard in the industry, we have always wanted to be one step ahead.

The renewal of our exterior cladding product range is motivated by the desire to serve our customers even better with products that meet their needs and are clearly divided into product series. We are pleased to introduce new product families that combine decades of experience into the ARCTIC and NORDIC series which contain six unique and different exterior cladding panels. Thermal modification and fire protection expand the possibilities of using the panels even more.
The ARCTIC range combines premium construction with ease of use
The ARCTIC range pays tribute to the forests of the Nordic countries. ARCTIC products highlight the durability, versatility and uniqueness of wood as a building material. Nothing compares to the resilience of the trees that grow in the forests of the North: they endure cold winters and come to life in the warmth of the sun and the humidity of the rains.
The ARCTIC range of exterior cladding panels is suitable for construction where the aim is to enjoy the wood as a ready-to-use product. All exterior cladding panels in the ARCTIC range are pre-treated, making them ready for installation.
The ARCTIC series includes TOPCOAT®, NATURAL TONES, and LUCID exterior cladding panels:
- TOPCOAT® exterior cladding panels became part of our selection for the first time in 2008; since then, it has become the crown jewel of our exterior cladding selection. TOPCOAT® is a fully finished panel with concealed fixing that creates elegant, high-quality facades.
- NATURAL TONES is a fully painted exterior cladding panel and its translucent treatment leaves the panel surface natural-looking but durable. The maintenance interval can be up to 15 years.
- The translucent surface of the LUCID exterior cladding panel gives the facade a light and beautiful look. LUCID is fully painted, but the panel requires a new treatment after 2–4 years.
Wood at its most authentic – the NORDIC series leaves time for making the final color choices
The NORDIC product series is a tribute to Finnish woodworking skills, which date back centuries. Forests and trees have always been a close part of people's lives, and the village's most skilled carpenters and log carvers have been respected artisans. Wood has been a reliable building material for years, which man has worked to suit his needs.
The NORDIC product series is delivered in different ways, with a treatment or completely untreated, so they are wood at its most authentic. In addition to installation, all products of the NORDIC series require painting, which naturally leaves time to choose the final shade of the panel.
The NORDIC series includes MIDCOAT, BASECOAT, and PURE exterior cladding panels:
- A surface-painted MIDCOAT exterior cladding panel exterior cladding panel looks stylish and protects the building already in the construction phase. It requires one more treatment at the construction site.
- BASECOAT is an exterior cladding panel that has been primed once and needs to be treated 1-2 more times after installation.
- PURE is a wood-ready – untreated exterior cladding panel that is particularly suitable for locations where the material requirement is small and the panel must be delivered to the job site quickly.
Perfect finishing with NORTH finishing products
NORTH gives the finishing touch to the facade, and its role should not be underestimated. NORTH finishing products are compatible with ARCTIC and NORDIC product series: the series contains all the necessary products for finishing the building.
The NORTH product series includes window boards, corner moldings and eaves, ventilation and cladding, and fascia boards. The products of the NORTH series combine the ideology of the ARCTIC and NORDIC series: the products are available either fully painted, primed or untreated.
