TOPCOAT® Fire retardant board
Exterior cladding with fire retardant treatment
Siparila's multi-purpose cladding boards are suitable for window sills, eaves, corner, and fence boards. TOPCOAT®FIRE cladding panels meet the requirements of the fire safety class B-s1, do, making them suitable for use in facades of apartment buildings, nursing homes, and other P1 buildings.
Wood is painted using a water-based paint that swells under heat to form an insulating layer of foam and thus slows down the fire. The primary purpose of wood fire protection is to prevent fire.
Wood's fire retardant treatment is carried out under strictly controlled conditions per a production process audited and certified by an external operator. All fire-retardant wood must be CE marked. Exterior cladding boards are made from high-quality Finnish spruce.
